With grand plans and humble beginnings, FBA was formed in 2006 and grows stronger every year. Six years later, the organization now boasts over ninety business members, non-profit organizations, and individuals interested in the progress and livelihood of this community. The FBA mission statement – at the bottom of this page – gives a clear and concise sense of our hopes, dreams, and motivations for the Fowlerville Business Association.
Monthly general meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month where attendees are kept apprised of local news, educational and marketing opportunities, and the latest networking communications. To accommodate diverse business hours, some months the meetings are held at 7:30 a.m. while other months a 6:00 p.m. dinner meeting is conducted.
Casual “after hours” events are also held monthly, typically the third Thursday of each month, at one of the local businesses. These are known as “TGIT” – or Thank Goodness It’s Thursday! Between 6:00 and 7:30 p.m., members as well as interested individuals can learn more about the hosting company, enjoy drinks and appetizers, and find a more casual setting for networking.
